CABLE SOLAR ENERGY

The new technical specifications IMQ (CPT 065 Issue 2 - July 09) is
available, it provides important news related to the cable for
photovoltaic systems.
In particular there are specific tests that will certify new cable "SOLAR
ENERGY" in performance related to its specific field use.
The main novelties of the legislation are:
-new long-term test (thermal endurance test)
- new colours of the outer sheath, Blue and Red over the classic Black
The rule also provides for a new designation of the cable: "FG21M21 PV 20
1500 V cc"
The General Cavi SpA obtained IMQ mark, on the cable SOLAR ENERGY FG7M2 PV
1500 VDC (CPT 065 edition 1) in April 2008, now General Cavi SpA are
making the adjustment to CPT 065 2 edition and state to build the cable
FG21M21 with the same technology used for the cable FG7M2 PV 1500V cc.
General Cavi SpA, in reference of the above declaration, will provide the
marketing and use of the cable type FG7M2 PV 1500 V cc  (IMQ approval)
until stocks sold out.
